Shipping Policy
Mercurius Curio Shop currently ships within Canada only.
We take care to pack every order appropriately for the items being shipped. Shipping methods, packaging requirements, and delivery timelines may vary depending on the size, weight, value, and fragility of your order.
Order Processing
Standard orders are typically prepared for shipment within 1–3 business days.
Processing time is separate from carrier transit time. Oversized, fragile, high-value, or specialty items may require additional preparation time due to custom packing requirements.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information.
Standard Shipping
Standard tracked shipping within Canada is $15.
Free standard shipping is available on qualifying orders of $300 or more.
Estimated transit time:
3–5 business days for most Canadian destinations
Remote, rural, or northern destinations may require additional delivery time.
Fragile Items
Certain fragile products require additional protective packaging and specialized handling.
Fragile Item Shipping: $25
Free on qualifying fragile-item orders of $500 or more
Estimated transit time:
2–8 business days
Fragile items are carefully packed and shipped using tracked service. Additional carrier coverage may be added depending on the value and nature of the shipment.
Large & Heavy Items
Large, heavy, oversized, or unusually shaped merchandise requires custom packing and may incur higher carrier costs.
Large / Heavy Item Shipping: $40
Free on qualifying large/heavy-item orders of $500 or more
Estimated transit time:
5–8 business days
These items are packed according to their individual size, weight, and handling requirements and shipped using tracked service.
Crystal Sound Tools
Crystal sound tools require specialized protective packaging and insured shipping.
Custom Shipping: $75
Estimated transit time:
6–10 business days
These items are custom packed, insured where available, and shipped with signature confirmation when required.
Crystal sound tools do not qualify for standard free-shipping promotions.
Frosted Bowl Full Sets
Complete frosted crystal bowl sets require extensive custom packing, with bowls individually protected and boxed for safe transport.
Custom Shipping: $200
Estimated transit time:
7–14 business days
These shipments are tracked, insured where available, and may require signature confirmation upon delivery.
Full bowl sets do not qualify for standard free-shipping promotions.
Local Pickup
Free local pickup is available at Mercurius Curio Shop.
Please wait until you receive a Ready for Pickup notification before coming to the store. Pickup is available during regular store hours.
Please bring your order confirmation or the name used when placing the order.
Tracking, Insurance & Signature
Tracked shipping is used for all parcel orders.
Higher-value, fragile, oversized, or specialty shipments may receive additional carrier coverage and/or signature confirmation at our discretion.
Carrier insurance and liability coverage are subject to the carrier’s own terms, exclusions, and maximum coverage limits.
Delivery Estimates
All delivery timelines shown at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed arrival dates.
Mercurius Curio Shop is not responsible for carrier delays caused by weather, service disruptions, holidays, remote delivery locations, or other circumstances outside our control.
Shipping Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
If you notice an error in your shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make every reasonable effort to update the order before shipment, but changes cannot be guaranteed once the order has entered fulfillment or been transferred to the carrier.
If an order is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, any additional shipping charges required to resend the order will be the responsibility of the customer.
Unclaimed or Refused Packages
If an order is returned to Mercurius because it was unclaimed, refused, or otherwise undeliverable, original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Any costs required to resend the order will be the responsibility of the customer.
Lost, Missing or Damaged Packages
If your tracking shows unusual delays, a missing delivery, or your order arrives damaged, please contact us promptly.
We will assist with carrier investigations or claims where applicable.
Please retain all packaging and shipping materials for damaged shipments, as photographs or inspection of the packaging may be required to support a carrier claim.
Split Shipments
Orders containing products with different packaging or shipping requirements may be shipped separately.
If your order is divided into multiple shipments, you may receive more than one tracking number and your packages may arrive on different days.
